Improving Health Facilities — Better Health, Broad Access
At D. Sarada Trust, we believe that good health is the foundation of a strong and self-reliant community.
Our initiatives focus on improving healthcare access for tribal and urban poor populations through medical outreach, preventive health programs, and awareness campaigns across Andhra Pradesh.
Mega Medical Camps – Urban Outreach in Visakhapatnam
To ensure that healthcare reaches every section of society, D. Sarada Trust has organized multiple Free Mega Medical Camps in Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam, benefiting 2,000–2,500 individuals per camp.
These large-scale health initiatives, conducted in collaboration with 36 eminent doctors from 20 reputed hospitals, have offered general consultations, diagnostic tests, minor operations, and free medicines to the underprivileged.

Empowering Tribal Children Through Education and Hope.
Through these camps, thousands of urban poor have gained access to quality medical care and vital health information.
Medical Outreach in Tribal Areas
In remote tribal regions, D. Sarada Trust has conducted 15 Free Mega Medical Camps, covering all 11 Mandals in the Alluri Seetharamaraju district.
Each camp serves around 800–1,000 tribal individuals, providing primary healthcare, check-ups, and essential medicines.
These efforts help bridge the healthcare gap between remote communities and medical professionals, significantly improving the health and resilience of tribal families.
Social Awareness Among Women — Empowering Through Education
Beyond healthcare, D. Sarada Trust is deeply engaged in addressing social issues that affect women and children, particularly child marriages, malnutrition, and illiteracy.
Through the innovative “JEEP JATHA” awareness campaign, a cultural troupe performs interactive street plays across tribal and rural areas.
These performances highlight topics such as:
The abolition of child marriages
Prevention of malnutrition
Women’s health and hygiene
Eradication of superstitions
The program has reached over 20,000 people across 11 Mandals, fostering social awareness and positive behavioral change.
A notable campaign on malnutrition was held from December 20–29, 2010, covering Paderu, Pedabayalu, Munchingputtu, Hukumpeta, Dumbriguda, Araku, and Ananthagiri Mandals.
In addition, a seminar titled “Save Environment” was organized on July 11, 2010, at Srinagar Colony, Visakhapatnam, featuring the GVMC Additional Commissioner as Chief Guest — emphasizing environmental protection and sustainable living.

Blanket Distribution — Winter Relief for Tribal Communities
To support families in the cold highlands of the Alluri Seetharamaraju district, D. Sarada Trust conducts annual blanket distribution drives across Ananthagiri, Araku, Paderu, and Chintapalli.
This initiative helps vulnerable tribal populations — especially the elderly and children — stay warm and safe during harsh winters.
Each year, hundreds of blankets are distributed to those most in need, reflecting our commitment to compassionate service and community welfare.
Our Commitment
From healthcare and hygiene to social awareness and seasonal relief, D. Sarada Trust continues to work towards building healthier, informed, and empowered communities.
Through these sustained efforts, we aim to ensure that no individual is left behind in access to health, dignity, and well-being.
